Innocence Murdered

April 6, 2005

Once again, satan has donned judicial robes and ordered the murder of the innocent. As with abortion, Terri Schiavo war ordered executed by judicial tyrants. Once again, “silence” on the part of most of the clergy has helped the oppressor not the oppressed. We spent Good Friday in Wichita, Kansas in front of the most infamous killer in history, “Tiller the Killer’s Murder Mill.” When we heard the news that Terri Schiavo’s tube feeding was not going to be reinstated, that she was ordered to be starved to death like St. Maximillian Kolbe at Auschwitz, our hearts were pierced with a sword. Not only because Terri was being murdered by her adulterous, estranged husband, but also because the people of Florida were not rescuing her from these vicious murderers. Like the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mary Schindler (Terri’s mother) wept at the excruciating passion of her daughter by starvation. Judgment is on America.

Our saintly Pope John Paul II has shown us how to live not only by great encyclicals but also by his life. He united his sufferings with Christ for the sake of His Body, the Church. He spent himself out of love for Christ and his flock. In March 2004, Pope John Paul II addressed an international congress of health care professionals convened in Rome to discuss the scientific advances and ethical dilemmas in comatose states. He declared unequivocally “The sick person in a comatose state still has the right to basic health care. The administration of food and water, even when provided by artificial means always represents a natural means of preserving life, not a medical act. Its use furthermore, should be considered in principle, ordinary and proportionate, and as such morally obligatory. Death by starvation or dehydration is, in fact, the only possible outcome as a result of their withdrawal. If done knowingly and willingly, it is euthanasia by omission.”

Hastening a human being’s death is not assistance to suffering human beings but abandonment. No treatment or the withholding of treatment should be the etiological cause of one’s death but only the direct result of the pathology, anomaly, disease or trauma. Murdering those with mild or severe cerebral anomalies by euphemisms, “brain dead, persistent vegetative state, comatose, etc.” will not lessen the gravity of the sin.

God save America!
