LINCOLN'S WORDS ARE RELEVANT TODAY

January 19, 2003

Our Lord Jesus replied, “The reason why I came into the world, is to testify to the truth. Anyone committed to the truth hears My voice”. “Truth” said Pilate “What is that?” Very few echo this insolence with such perfidy as did former president, Bill Clinton. Lest we forget, his first five acts in office were to kill innocent babies in the womb; the next two were to promote and legalize homosexuality. With the condom queen, Jocelyn Elders as surgeon general, the Clintons and their cohorts wanted governmental healthcare. Their plan would have mandated abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide in every town and in every medical school, all funded by taxpayer dollars! His Outcome Based Education, sensitivity training and contraception have fostered an epidemic of infidelity, promiscuity, and murder. His worst depravity was to allow babies to be pulled out of the womb breach, their heads punctured and their brains sucked out under the title of healthcare. He didn't object to China’s population program and those who were eating their babies as a delicacy, but was outraged when they stole a few American movies for Chinese consumption. Yet how can we condemn his deeds and re-elect the doers of these atrocities. A vote for the demoncratic (Democratic) party, which espouses in its platform both abortion and sodomy, would be vile!

However, rather than expound on the fundamental inconsistencies and lies in the demoncratic (Democratic) campaign, lets focus this letter on the cowardice and depravity of the publicans (Republicans) on abortion and other moral issues. Quoting Abraham Lincoln's speech at New Haven on March 6th, 1860, I will demonstrate their erroneous position by changing the word slavery to abortion. “You say that you think slavery (abortion) is wrong, but you denounce all attempts to outlaw it. Is there anything else you think wrong and are not willing to deal with as a wrong? There is no place where you will allow slavery (abortion) to be called wrong (murder). We must not call it wrong in politics because that is bringing morality into politics, and we must not call it wrong in the pulpit because that is bringing politics into religion; we must not bring it into our clubs or other societies, because those are such unsuitable places. There is no single place, according to you, where this wrong (slavery, abortion) can be properly called wrong (murder) and treated accordingly”. Lincoln's words have great relevance today, and what is at stake is the soul of our nation.
