30th Anniversary of Roe v Wade

2003 marks the 30th anniversary of unbridled murder in the United States by abortion. This perverse and homicidal philosophy of abortion has led to an error of massive attacks on human life. Our Lord Jesus humbled Himself to become a single cell Human Being, yet our nation, which calls itself Christian is organizing massive campaigns with international institutions like Planned Parenthood, Unicef, National Abortion Rights Action League, etc. to spread contraception, sterilization, abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and genetic engineering. All of this has taken place with the complicity of the media. It has been estimated that world wide, more than one billion human beings have been murdered by these devils of death. Today's maddening drive to destroy human life and the ongoing slaughter of millions of innocent babies in the womb must be halted by the Blood of Christ shed for us on Calvary, offered up and perpetuated at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

On Saturday, January 15, 2003, the Founder and volunteers of the NATIONAL AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL, with tremendous sadness, marked the 30th Anniversary of Roe v Wade. We coordinated the event with Edmond Jeanfreau, Pro-Life Chairman, Louisiana Knights of Columbus, and Kevin Jeanfreau, Founder, Christian Patriots for Life. Edmond arranged for the Padre Pio Assembly pro-life pilgrimage from his hometown in Abita Springs, Louisiana. He brought a busload of Knights with family and friends. Other Knights and friends from around the state attended.
Our dear friend Monsignor Robert Guste from New Orleans led a solemn procession around the Memorial grounds, and in prayers to Our Lady of Guadalupe for the end to this holocaust.

Pope John Paul II has stated, "Man has given himself over to a lie. Man goes in search of an illusionary freedom apart from truth itself. The beginning of freedom is to be free from sin". The blood of Abel and that of all the murdered innocents cries to heaven for vengeance and America will shed tears for every drop of blood shed by these innocent victims. "If anyone sheds the blood of man, by man his blood be shed, for in the image of God has man been made". (Genesis 9:6)

The defense and promotion of life is not the ministry of a few, but the responsibility of all. We should be by grace what Our Lord Jesus was by nature, a Child of God and a Child of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for America to repent of abortion!
