The front page article in the Advocate on December 27, 2011 contains some fraudulent errors on the part of DHH Executive Counsel Steve Russo.  The concerned citizens of Louisiana who sent in public records requests were given fraudulent addresses by DHH personnel.  After we sent the requests, a friend in New Orleans gave us the correct address on Poydras Avenue because he knew a friend that worked there.  Steve Russo was quoted saying that requiring the physicians who perpetrated this massive medical fraud and malpractice to correct the records would traumatize the women being contacted.  How would asking patients:  what was the health of the mother at the time of the abortion?  What was the reason for the abortion?  And where there any complications from the abortion?  Along with the other questions asked on the Report of Induced Termination of Pregnancy traumatize women? According to the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association women are not traumatized by abortion.

The Report of Induced Termination of Pregnancy reveals pertinent patient information on the abortion procedure for the purpose of tracking the health and safety of abortion on the women in Louisiana.  Complications of pregnancy termination (hemorrhaging, infection, uterine perforation, cervical laceration, retained fetal parts, injuries and death) and the type of medical intervention used after these complications will indicate which populations are at risk and most affected.  These data are then used for health planning, policy development, insuring appropriate medical treatment and implementing strategies to reduce medical malpractice and resulting injuries.

From DHH's own website, the purpose of these vital statistics is “The Parish Health Profiles provide information to help promote and improve health outcomes in communities.  They are tools that can be used to develop policy, write grants, develop new initiatives, improve existing programs, and assist in evaluation efforts for developing and maintaining healthy communities.”

Proceedings against Delta Clinic of Baton Rouge, Inc., State ID: BO0004642; Complaint No. 9AB28180.  Summary of 128-page report.  DHH Findings: (2009).  Anyone who reads this report, which is a public record, will be put into shock at the egregious findings which have put tens of thousands of Louisiana women's health at risk.   After a WAFB news report in 1999 revealed heinous crimes committed by the abortion clinics DHH David Hood said these atrocities would never happen again in Louisiana.  The violations in the years since then have been even worse.  These valiant citizens of Louisiana who are exposing the abortion atrocities and rewriting the history of so-called women's reproductive health care will show to the nation the real, sinister side of this mass extermination and the injuring of women all with the complicity of the DHH.

Our Christmas Prayer

December 24, 2011

Learn a lesson this Christmas season

In this joyous Advent season, as we await the memorial of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we received in great sorrow the news of the miscarriage of Jim and Michelle Duggar’s 20th child.

There was great joy in the hearts of the Duggars when they conceived their baby in love.

Sharing each other in body and soul

Comes a child

Flesh of our flesh

Soul of light divine

Children are our source of light and warmth

A symbol of our life and love together.

Spiritually blind people actually were angry with the Duggars for “having another baby.” These pragmatic secular humanists argued that it put both mother and baby in danger to have so many children. From a utilitarian perspective this would seem very reasonable. However, in their blind error, they have lost sight of the fact that this precious child has an immortal soul, which will shine forever throughout eternity. “Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary.”

Many in our society have developed a hostile attitude toward large families, and toward the handicapped and marginalized. Nearly 95 percent of the Down syndrome babies in America are murdered by abortion. Women older than 35 years of age are encouraged to check to see whether their child in the womb has any defects, and to abort their child if they do. Yet I do not know any human beings more loving and precious than those who are handicapped or have Down syndrome. These marvelous souls have a magnanimous spirit because “they are not oppressed by the thirst for success.”

Like the citizens of Bethlehem and the surrounding region, the intelligent, responsible people had no room in their hearts or in their homes for the Holy Family. Only the poor, ignorant shepherds saw God’s power and wisdom in the poor babe lying in the manger.
Let us all learn this holy Christmas that the purpose of our lives and prayer is “not to obtain what we desire, but to find and accept what God desires.”

The Conscience of a Nation

September 7, 2011

Pope Paul VI's encyclical Humanae Vitae prophesied the great demographic winter that would ensue in the world, with universal sexual perversity, the murdering of innocent babies in the womb, and the breakdown of marriage and family life, if the hedonistic practice of artificial contraception was introduced and embraced by the world.

In his greatest work of all, Ronald Reagan, in his treatise, The Conscience of a Nation, reminds America that if its convictions are that all life is sacred and that each individual is guaranteed by God and by law to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and if our conduct is not in harmony with these convictions, America will cease to be that “city set on a hill.” America will not have the moral fortitude to lead other nations into that freedom with which God has blessed us. Ronald Reagan was a true Israelite, a man without guile (John 1:47). There was no pretense in his words or actions. I hope this legacy will be carried on by Rick Perry and Herman Cain so America will truly be that “city set on a hill.”

It is ironic that President Barack Hussein Obama has promised America that he will create jobs and prosperity while promoting abortion and sexual perversity (sodomy) which have been the cause of our economic downfall and demographic winter.

President Obama thinks he can create jobs by building roads and bridges. I have a way of creating 10 million jobs tomorrow. All we have to do is deport 10 million illegal immigrants who are doing all the manual work in America, and replace them with United States citizens. But do Americans want these jobs? The trend in America over the past 40 years has been to sell out America's manufacturing jobs to China's totalitarian communist regime, ignoring their atrocities. The Chinese produced cheap goods from slave labor, which we happily bought to our own demise. We have the same sentiment about using illegal immigrants to do our work, albeit under better conditions, yet the same principle of using these poor illegal immigrants to do our work and prosper our coffers at the expense of “law and truth.”

“What law and reason were unable to accomplish, had now to be done by the uncertain and dreadful dispenser of God's judgments, war. War, with its abominably casual, inaccurate methods of destroying good and bad together, but at least unquestionably able to hew a way out of intolerable situations, when through man's delusion or perversity every better way is blocked.” - Abraham Lincoln.

China's One Child Policy

July 26, 2011

It has been said that there are three times as many households with pets than with children in San Francisco. A friend of mine recently visited her daughter in Los Angeles, and she went with her friend to the Dog Park. There were no children, just dogs playing as their masters watched. (Excuse me, I forgot, you're not supposed to call dogs animals.)

On June 28, 2011, a young Chinese couple pulled into the Delta Clinic of Baton Rouge for an abortion. They both spoke broken English. However, the husband told us he was an engineer and worked at a chemical plant in Geisner, Louisiana. He said he was on a turnaround and then was going to travel back to China. He told us the Chinese government had a one child policy and that they already had two children, which violated this one child policy. He stated that he had to pay nearly a year's salary in fines for having a second child. They knew that they were going to murder their third child, due to China's totalitarian communist dictatorship, yet they did not want to seek asylum in the United States because they didn't want to leave their family and friends behind in China, due to what might happen to them.

He is terrified that the Chinese government will find out that he had a third child, so they murdered their third child rather than standing up to these Chinese dictators. In June 2011 LifeSite News showed a documentary on the brutal forced abortions in China where they hold Chinese women down with ropes and murder their children in their ninth month and then throw the murdered babies at the women. If they protest, they burn their houses down.

I hope the Department of Health and Hospitals investigates Delta Clinic of Baton Rouge's Report of Induced Termination of Pregnancy report to see what Delta put down for the reason for the abortion for this Chinese woman. This is not only a local tragedy, but a national tragedy, since we fund this most favored trade nation and all the atrocities it commits.

Fathers' Day - 2011

The English word “father” comes from the Latin word pater. Paternal authority is
absolute and is used as a term of comparison to describe the authority of God the Creator.
Paternity provides for life. It protects, governs, and guides the earthly family in a manner
similar to the loving protection of God the Father in heaven. Fathers also reward virtue
and punish vice.

I’m grateful that I grew up in the age of Ozzie and Harriet, Father Knows Best, and It’s a
Wonderful Life. I received my earthly training from my Dad. My loving Mom would die
a thousand deaths before she’d let me skin my knee, and would give me anything I
wanted by merely a sigh. My dad gave me only what was good for me, both physically
and spiritually. I thank God his leather belt on my gluteus maximus silenced all
whimpering and complaints. He taught me the path of honor and virtue in the crucible of
discipline. He was a good man, honest, humble, respectful. He left for work before we
even woke up and came home at night to drive us to swim meets, tennis tournaments, and
other sporting events, even though he was exhausted after a hard day’s work. Yet more
importantly, he took us to Mass and taught us the Christian faith. He taught me to strive
to conquer the world for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to dream the impossible
dream.

The father is the head of the family, and the mother is the heart of the family. Without
either one, the family will be terminally ill or dead. The love of husband and wife, and
their union with God, is linked to the love that resides between the Father and the Son,
which begets the Holy Spirit. Many tell me that this world that I lived in is “Gone With
the Wind.” My reply is, “That which is holy will live forever, and that which is evil will
die with the age.

Bl. Pope John Paul II has warned society that we are living in apocalyptic times, with
serious consequences. But to be of great joy for after the Time of Great Tribulation, the
world will be renewed by the Christian family.

Like most children, I never really appreciated my dad until I was much older. Yet I can’t
thank him enough for teaching me the path of virtue that only loving restraint could
convey. I pray that all broken families in our sad world today will find the healing
presence of God in their family life so they may experience the joy that the Holy Trinity
wishes to bestow on all families.

God bless you Dad!

Pro-life March, 2011

Richard Mahoney

On January 22-24, 2011 millions of people marched on the streets of the United States and hundreds of thousands of youth prayed and processed at the Nation’s Capitol to mourn the infamous Roe v. Wade decision which legalized abortion. Not one major network that I know of covered these events. So it didn’t surprise me that no major news outlet in Louisiana was brave enough to tell the truth about the illegal and injurious activity that occurred at Delta Clinic in Baton Rouge over the past 7 years and of their affiliation with the murderer Gosnell from Philadelphia.

They did not cover the real crimes committed at Delta, or Leroy T. Brinkley’s (owner of Delta) and Eileen White O’Neal’s involvement with the horrid abortion and infanticide massacre that occurred at Gosnell’s Philadelphia abortion clinic. WAFB did a cursory report on what they described as allegations against Delta and the DHH, but they did not reveal the truth!

We challenge Delta and DHH to meet with us on WAFB in a live broadcast as we show the citizens of our state the real crimes being committed by the abortion industry and how our government agencies have been complicit with these crimes.

One woman who was seriously injured at Delta wanted to tell her story on the news and was denied, probably because the media doesn’t want a floodgate of other people deluging their station with the truth. Showing how Gosnell preferred delivering babies alive and then cutting their necks to kill them was a lot easier for him then ripping them apart in their mother’s wombs and having to piece their bodies back together to make shore he got all of the baby isn’t what I call pleasant but neither is 99% of that shown on our major networks.

However both Gosnell and Delta’s former abortionist James Whitmore are probably the only honest abortionists out there. They both acknowledged that the purpose of an abortion is to kill a baby, so why does it matter if the baby dies inside the womb or outside? They call it fetal demise! I wept for the handful of pro-abortion people that were at the capitol. They shouted slogans “It is easier to change a condom than a diaper. We are leaders not breeders.” Those poor souls have never heard the sweet and soothing voice or the tender touch of a loving mother. They need to go to their heavenly mother, the Immaculate Virgin Mary to be healed! – 02/06/2011

Abby Johnson: ‘I would give my life’ to
undo the evil I caused at Planned Parenthood

by Abby Johnson

Monday May 02, 2011

May 2, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - I never had the honor of talking to Dr. Bernard Nathanson. But someone told me once that he asked Dr. Nathanson about his remorse after performing thousands of abortions. Many of us that have once been in the abortion industry are frequently criticized for our public “lack of remorse.” Dr. Nathanson explained to this man that if he actually allowed himself to feel the depth of his remorse, he wouldn’t be able to live with the pain. I would say that is pretty accurate for most of us who have once lived and walked in those hallways of evil. I’m not sure my heart would take the pain if I really allowed myself to feel what I had done.

Have you ever watched one of those crime shows where they interview a prisoner who murdered someone? I recently saw one about a man who had killed a young woman. He had since become a Christian while in prison and the remorse for the life he had taken was so evident. He could hardly even talk about her. It was difficult for him to maintain his composure. Well, imagine that type of remorse times thousands and thousands. We were serial killers of the worst kind … we killed children.

Then one day, after years of living in foolishness and evil, we turn it around. We swallow our pride and admit we were wrong. We lose our friends, we are called names, we start over … but we know it is worth it. It is not easy, but it is right. We repent from our sin and we feel a sense of peace and joy that has never been in our heart before … but there is brokenness, too … and a stinging feeling of remorse that won’t leave. I remember wondering if the brokenness and remorse would ever lessen. Would it ever leave? It doesn’t. It is a constant reminder of who you were and what you have done. But now, I am thankful for the reminder … it keeps me focused, passionate, and most of all, praying.

For some of us, we go on to have normal 9-5 jobs and live our lives in the privacy of family and friends. Some of us live our lives in the public. I know I am called to work full time in the fight. I didn’t know that at first, but God revealed that to me in a pretty big way … thanks to Planned Parenthood’s media release. For those of us whose conversions are public, many look at us as heroes. But we are not … I am not. How could we be? We look around us and see people who have been fighting in this movement for years; they are heroes. We are criminals. We deserve punishment, not awards. We deserve to be cast out, not accepted. We don’t deserve forgiveness, but we seem to get it anyway.

Every day of my life I think about the women I took from. I took away their motherhood, I devalued them, I broke their confidence, I betrayed them. How I wish I could look into every one of their faces and tell them how sorry I am. If I could restore some of what I took from them, I would give my life to make it happen. I wish I could be there to wipe their tears when they mourn for their lost child. To know that you committed a terrible wrong that you can’t make right is one of the most desperate feelings in the world. And as desperate as I feel, I can’t make those wishes come true. But I do my best everyday to make it up to those women and their children. I failed them once, but I won’t do it again. I know they haven’t forgotten their children, and I haven’t either.

For the lives I have taken, ‘I’m sorry’ just seems hollow to even say. How do you apologize for killing thousands of children and wounding thousands of families? I’m not sure I have an answer. But I am sorry. I am sorry to the women I coerced into abortion. I am sorry to every woman who has ever had an abortion; you may never hear those words from the person who performed your abortion, but I want you to hear it from me on behalf of that doctor or clinic worker. I am sorry they betrayed you. I am sorry they broke your spirit and your trust. I am sorry they hurt you. I am sorry they didn’t have the courage to stand up for you and what you really deserved…a chance to be a mother to your child. We abused and disrespected you in the worst possible way. I am sorry. So many people probably disappointed you…your friends, your family, your church community, your coworkers, maybe others. I apologize on behalf of them, as well. I am guilty of selling abortion to my family, friends, coworkers, and even people I worship with. We should have stood up for you and your child. I am so sorry we let you down in the worst possible way. You deserved better than what we gave you.

The extent of my remorse, sorrow and grief runs very deep. I could never even begin to share it all with you on a blog. I’m not even sure I am aware of how deep it runs. But it is there … reminding me of the life I once had and how hard I must now work.

I am only able to handle the pain of my past with the help of Christ. I couldn’t do any of this without His grace and His steady hand guiding me every day. He has never given me more than I can bear. I have never felt overwhelmed. I see His love and compassion for me every day. It is the most amazing feeling of peace and wholeness. I don’t have to wonder if He’s with me … I know He is guiding my every step.

I am a BIG sinner. I am far from a perfect pro-lifer. I would say I am a mediocre Christian. I am definitely not the best wife and no one has nominated me for “Mother of the Year.” I always fail at having a perfect day, but I keep trying. I guess I want you to know that I am working so hard to make things right. I can’t take away the pain I have caused. But I can promise to dedicate my life and my heart to this movement. I won’t ever give up on these children. My heart is here and it is healing.

Veteran's Day

On November 11, 2010, we celebrated Veteran's Day in honor of those who served in the Armed Forces, and we prayed for those who are currently serving in the military. Many television and radio programs that aired on Veteran's Day discussed the number of our troops who are coming back from Afghanistan and Iraq with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). As former presidential candidate Senator John Kerry said, “It is hard to die for one's country but many times, it is much harder to kill for one's country.” There is one who understands what these soldiers have suffered: the Immaculate Virgin Mary, who suffered with Christ at the foot of the Cross. While I know many who died in “just wars” to give us freedom of religion and worship, we must acknowledge what Our Lady of Fatima said, “War is a punishment for sin,” an abyss into which men march because they refuse to obey the sovereign God's command to reverence the sanctity of all human life.

In this editorial, I wish to also acknowledge those soldiers who suffer PTSD for fighting the most deadly war in history which has claimed more lives than all other wars put together. Worldwide, this war has been raging for nearly a century and in the US for the last 37 years. It is the war against abortion (the murder of innocent babies in their mother's womb). Sadly to say, I have seen the family members of many of these soldiers who have abandoned them when they showed symptoms of PTSD. Yet these courageous warriors have fought this reign of terror for nearly 40 years and have seen millions of babies being murdered, thrown into dumpsters, ground up in garbage disposals and taken off as trash in biohazardous waste trucks. It is time for the Church to honor these Veterans and give them their support. We must also acknowledge our sin of not adequately condemning the holocaust in our midst and of not excommunicating those who publicly support this carnage. Again, we thank God for the lives of all holy men and women who have given up their lives to protect, honor and serve God's children!

DHH

In 1999 affidavits from Delta employees revealed unbelievable negligence and injury to
women who had abortions at the Delta Clinic. But even more startling was the fact that
they admittedly made up the numbers of abortions performed and never reported any
injuries that occurred at the Clinic. They even admitted that the forms were pre-printed,
with pre-printed question responses checked off and completed prior to seeing any
patients.

At Richard Mahoney's request, attorney Mike Johnson in 2009 contacted the DHH and
demanded that an investigation be done on the unbridled criminal activity going on at the
clinic for nearly a decade following their 1999 investigation. Evidence of Delta's criminal
activity was supplied to the DHH by Richard Mahoney and given to the DHH as an
exhibit to be used in the prosecution of Delta. As a result of this investigation (State ID:
BO0004642; Complaint # 9AB28180) the DHH found deficient practices at the Clinic and
submitted proceedings against Delta. This led to a small monetary fine and the
continuation of the Clinic's operation. Most notable among these crimes is the fact that
Delta continued with their medical fraud for the last ten years by submitting the same
pre-printed forms to the DHH Office of Vital Records with the same pre-printed question
responses checked off and completed prior to seeing any patients.

All records that were falsified to the DHH Vital Records Registry need to be corrected
and the appropriate information needs to be reported for each patient. Then, punitive
fines and prison time need to be imposed. All records for the last 30 years need to be
corrected and the appropriate statistics be made known to the public. After these
corrections have been made at the Delta Clinic, all other abortion clinics in the State of
Louisiana need to submit and comply with the same corrective actions. Most importantly,
the information on complications experienced from abortion (infections, adverse drug
reactions, uterine perforations, bleeding, STD's, loss of limbs, emergency
hysterectomies, injuries and deaths) need to be rigorously investigated and the
appropriate number and severity needs to be documented. Delta workers admitted using
unsterile dilators and tubing on patients for years in the Clinic, which could have led to
infecting tens of thousands of women going there with STD's.

The public needs to know the truth about abortion and the atrocities that have been
committed by the abortion industry and the government's involvement in the skewing of
the number of abortions performed and the injuries and complications associated with
these procedures.

“This practice of falsifying legal documents to the DHH’s Office of Vital Records and the
medical malpractice and fraud involved in sending forms to the DHH that were preprinted,
with the pre-printed questions responses checked off and completed prior to
seeing any patients, is tantamount to the largest travesty of justice ever perpetrated by
the medical establishment under the guise of women’s reproductive health care. All this
with governmental complicity. In no other branch of medical practice, cardiology,
pulmonology, neurology, etc., would this be tolerated. The ramifications of these
perjuries to the health of women in the United States is staggering!”

The Month of May

The beautiful month of May reflects the bountiful love of our mothers who gave us life and the Immaculate Virgin Mary, our heavenly mother. Two of our eleven children will be graduating this month to embark on a new journey with our Lord Jesus Christ. Many people ask me why we homeschooled our eleven children instead of sending them to Catholic Schools. In reply: The purpose of Catholic education, whether through homeschooling or parochial Catholic schools, is to teach our children their vocation (marriage, holy orders, consecrated single) not job or career and to teach them how to serve (not compete) while imparting to them the eternal truths of our Catholic faith. Whenever you ask young men or women what they want to do after they graduate, rarely do you hear them say they want to be a good father or mother or religious. They usually give you a litany of their career options. It is your vocation which will ultimately define your happiness on earth and your eternal salvation.

Our life is a quest for holiness and a quest for truth. Without truth, no human being could ever attain to holiness. The richness of all truth lies in the eternal and Incarnate Word and is deposited in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Parents are and always will be the primary educators of their children and God has entrusted them with the grace to penetrate into the innermost character of their children’s souls to cultivate the blossoming of their talents and virtues. Our Lord, through the instrument of their parents, will mold His children like clay or chisel them like marble. God has entrusted and blessed us with eleven immortal souls, and we have been privileged to be able to spend most of the formative years with these precious gifts. I only desired to teach my children one thing. Their greatest treasure, their greatest love, their greatest aspiration is present every day at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in the eternal sacrifice of love, and we are to unite ourselves in union with Christ at this Sacrifice. From there, “To Dream the Impossible Dream…!”

Calumny and Detraction

“Neither was guile found in his mouth, who when he was reviled, did not revile; when he suffered, he threatened not.”  This current media blitz about the pedophile scandal caused by Judases within the Church is not about actual sin or crime but is a direct attack on God and the Holy Roman Catholic Church.  The Pope and Holy Bishops may not respond to these tabloid accusations, but we the holy faithful will not allow Christ and His Church to be discredited by these piranhas in the media.  For once, let us shame the devil and tell the truth.  I do not know who is better at fabrication, calumny and detraction: lawyers, politicians, journalists or newscasters?  My article in the Advocate in 2005, “Pedophile Is a Crime,” correctly portrayed the scope and magnitude of the pedophile crime and cover-up.  To their shame, many journalists and newscasters are deliberately covering up the true nature and scope of these crimes.  Msgr. Eugene McCarthy was the first to correctly state the problem and cause of these crimes.  He was immediately silenced to protect the real perpetrators of perverse sexual immorality.  Msgr. McCarthy stated that these crimes were the result of allowing homosexuals in the seminaries for the last 50 years on the suggestion of psychiatrists that you could be a truly chaste homosexual in priestly ministry.  (That is as insane as saying that an alcoholic would make a good bartender!)

Notwithstanding the enormous physiological, psychological and spiritual damage that sodomy has inflicted on humanity, the homosexual agenda to legitimize this perverse behavior has not once been addressed in the media's coverage of the Church sex scandal. Nearly all perpetrators were homosexual men who sodomized sixteen, seventeen and eighteen year old adolescents. Not once did the media portray it as a homosexual scandal, but a pedophile scandal. While locally the police, child-protection agency and abortion lobbies have covered up the real pedophile sex scandal. Over 800 times last year Planned Parenthood was caught on tape offering abortion to a 13-year old to cover up rape. The Delta Clinic of Baton Rouge was caught falsifying reports to the DHH for over seven years, and covering up the rape of minors by not reporting their pregnancy to the sex crimes lab or child protection agency.

The truths of our Faith have been blurred by this scandal and betrayal, but have not prevailed over the magnificent lives of the millions of saints who have been loving witnesses of the power of Christ and His Church.

Health Care Bill

Now that the smoke has cleared and the dust has settled, what will be the consequences of this health-care bill?

Father Corapi has often said, “God has put a limit on man's intelligence, but no limit on his stupidity.”

No truer words could be said of those who passed this health care bill signed by President Obama. This bill is not only morally degenerate but also fiscally irresponsible in a nation drowning in debt.

Health care services comprise 18 to 30 percent of the Gross Domestic Product, depending on what is categorized as direct vs. indirect services. These are high paying jobs which generate most of the tax base in this country. Since we have moved most of our manufacturing jobs to China, and our engineering jobs to India and other Asian countries, America desperately needs health care services to stay in the private sector to provide an economic tax base.

The percentage of the GDP for health care services is supposed to double over the next 20 years. Governmental health care, Medicare and Social Security are already bankrupt, and our nation is $13 trillion in debt. The government borrowed money to bail out the automotive and banking industries from the most repressive communist regime known in history (China). Who does Obama think is going to bail out America?

The only governmental options to solve this crisis are to be morally and fiscally responsible, or confiscate the remaining wealth left in America. Obama has signed over America to a socialist dictatorship where your money, your health, and ultimately your death will be controlled by the government.

This nation, which has aborted fifty million babies (and has stolen ten billion taxpayer dollars to give Planned Parenthood to do it), now has only two employed workers for every retired person, and does not have enough economic stability to take care of the elderly, now wants the government to pay the health care costs for fifteen million illegal immigrants and for those who do not currently have health insurance. It does not take an M.B.A. to realize that this is impossible.

The Democrats had better stay out of the E.R. The organ procurement agency might pronounce them brain dead and steal their organs!

The Evils of Nationalism

My father was one of ten children, the son of an Irish immigrant. I was born in New York City, the melting pot of America, and educated at the University of Miami, an international university. These credentials have given me a better understanding and knowledge of the cultural diversity that exists in our world.

Individually, the Irish were good people, pious and God-fearing, raising their large families in the love and fear of God. Yet, collectively, they lost their souls in the 1960s for economic and political gain. The accumulation of this great apostasy was the veneration of the first Irish Catholic president, John F. Kennedy, who denigrated his faith to some obscure pious ritualism (worse yet, Ted Kennedy's re-election for nearly a half century in Irish Boston even after being a suspected drunkard involved in the death of a young woman)!

Having slept with the Democrats throughout the 1950s and 1960s, who promised the poor Irish Catholics prosperity and a mutual cooperation in governmental money for Catholic hospitals and schools, they bought the Catholic vote. The price of this fornication was the abandonment of religious vocations, the breakdown of the family, the Land o' Lakes declaration of independence, and the Obama-nation of Notre Dame. Individually, most people of all races and cultures are men of good will. However, collectively, most become abominable when they become nationalistic instead of universal (Latin: catholic). Sadly to say, the people of African descent have gone down the same path as the Irish for the past 50 years, making the same mistake and selling their souls to the Democratic Party. More recently, those of Catholic Mexican descent are falling into the same pit. We can be color-blind but let us not be blind to the reality of the universal racism that has existed, and will continue to exist, until all are universally bound in the truth of Christ!

On the topic of universal health care, let us cut to the chase. Only a madman would want our government, which is $11 trillion in debt, and the most irresponsible business in America, to take over health care. They have already given over $1 trillion taxpayer dollars to Planned Parenthood, the # 1 baby-killers in America, and have spent trillions on AIDS and STDs, all the while peddling irresponsible and perverse behavior (sodomy and fornication). With a little morality, we could probably erase the national debt!

Super Bowl

In the 1981 Academy Award winning film Chariots of Fire, Eric Liddell refuses to violate the Lord's commandment to keep the Lord's Day holy, and refuses to run on Sunday in the 1924 Olympics. In 1958 Brigham Young's baseball team turned down an invitation to the College World Series because they refused to play baseball on Sunday. Recently, two all-American football players turned down $25 million NFL contracts to take $25,000 a year teaching jobs because they refused to play on Sunday. These men are honored not only in this life but will be truly honored by our Lord for all eternity. "He that honors me, I will honor."

Until 1983, stores in Louisiana could not be open on Sunday. And, interestingly enough, Joseph Stalin ordered his generals to move the Russian sporting games to Sunday, relying on taking the youth and then taking the country. This Sunday, nearly 100,000 people will cram into the Super Bowl in Miami, Florida, with the rest of the country riveted to the game by TV or computer. Nearly a billion dollars will be spent on tickets, TV ads, hotels, etc. How is this giving glory to God? His commandment is "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.... Thou shalt do no work...."

I startled a fellow parishioner of mine by telling him that next week the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered at the SuperDome. We would be stuck in traffic for hours, and when we got there we would have to pay $1,000 to get in. When the Mass is finished, it will take us several hours to get back home. But, nothing to fret about, because we love our Lord so much that just the excitement of being there is worth all the sacrifice. He got the point. Where your heart is, there your treasure is. You can not worship God and Super Bowl!

Roe v Wade

January 20, 2010

"One dark day in January of 1973, SATAN donned judicial robes!  Robes flowing, gavel in hand,
he swept onto the floor of the United States Supreme Court.  He presided over the most
atrocious travesty of justice  that ever took place, and he declared  - we now have the 'right' to
murder the most innocent, in what should be the safest place in the universe for them!  And
since then, tens of millions of babes have been assassinated in their own mothers' wombs!
The darkness indeed grows deeper."
--Fr. John Corapi, S.O.L.T.

On Jaunary 22, 2010, I will join hundreds of thousands of youth at the 37th Annual March For
Life in Washington, D.C. to let President Obama know that we are a “people of life” and to warn
him that a nation that kills its own children is a nation without hope.

In several months, I will be deployed either to Iraq or Afghanistan to fight the “War on Terror.”
We will fight insurgents who have no respect for human life and use indiscriminate force to get
what they want.  Blessed Mother Teresa told President Clinton at the National Prayer Breakfast, “
How can we expect people not to use violence to get what they want when we allow them to
murder their own children.”

Our success in the “war on terror” will ultimately be linked to our own country's respect for the
dignity of human life and ability to stop “the terror in the womb!”

Pope John Paul II often said, “If you want peace, work for justice.”  Where is the justice for the
over 50 million babies murdered by abortion?

Anno Domini

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will.

In the naïveté of youth, erroneous opinions are formulated in the cauldron of inexperience. When I arrived home from my freshman year of college, I told my grandmother that I didn't see anything wrong with communism since our Lord Jesus Christ forewarned us of the evils of greed and wanted us to share our goods with the poor.

In the Acts of the Apostles it states, “And they shared all things in common.” My grandmother nearly had a heart attack and rattled off a litany of the evils that our great grandparents had suffered under such an evil totalitarian regime! Age and experience have showed me the errors of my thought.

In the Acts of the Apostles it also states, “There was no needy person among them, for those who had property would sell them and bring the proceeds and lay them at the feet of the Apostles who distributed to each according to his needs.” In Christianity, proper economics is done through charity and justice. In communism, evil people and regimes confiscate other people's wealth and distribute the stolen money according to political expediency, not justice. The right to private ownership is a fundamental God-given right and our Lord Jesus Christ foretold, “The poor you will always have with you and you can help them” through charity, not forced confiscation.

Many ignorant politicians and even some pastors have embraced the heresies of liberation theology and communism. A classic example is to allow open borders so that people can illegally enter this country. I had to gently reprimand several Christian pastors for their misguided compassion. I told them I would gladly help anyone to the best of my ability who had been forced into exile and was in need, however, I would take them into my house and take care of them. I would not expect my fellow industrious worker and taxpayer to pay for my charity. Anyone who wants to give any marginalized person help or give exiles amnesty should open their rectories and homes to feed, clothe and educate them and not allow the government to be a thief and steal from those who work hard to take care of their families. Blessed Mother Teresa owned nothing which allowed her to take care of the poor for the love of Christ. She didn't steal from others to take care of them. They gave through charity, not confiscation.

Communism, nazism, fascism, modernism, freudism, and even capitalism are the product of man's futility. There is only one truth, and you can find Him in a manger. Give to God what is God's, and to Caesar the light of truth, the King of Glory. Glory to God in the highest!

Hate Speech?

October 27, 2009

Mr. Moore, hate speech? On the contrary! Who would not be moved to pity at seeing a drunkard lying in the gutter vomiting all over himself? Would it be called hate speech to condemn drunkenness? Yet, when we see millions of people destroy themselves physically and spiritually by the sin of sodomy, should we not condemn the perverse act which has given tens of millions of people one of the worst plagues in history? The average lifetime cost to treat each AIDS patient is $618,900 (Journal of Bio-Medicine). The average life expectancy of sexually active homosexuals is about 20 years less than for heterosexual men. The cost to the American taxpayer for sexually transmitted diseases, children born out of wedlock, and broken families, is staggering.

The Immaculate Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858 and asked her to pray for poor sinners. A French physician asked her, "Who are these sinners we are to pray for?" She replied, "Those who love sin!" To be tempted by sin, or even fall through human weakness, is not the same thing as the vile person who condones the sin he commits and tries to lead others into its bondage.

If Mr. Moore thinks that a moral Christian lifestyle will not "resolve the health care crisis," and that I am so ignorant that I should be beamed back to the medieval era, I challenge him to a televised debate on the health care crisis over a cup of V-8 juice.

Restoration of the Christian Family and True Health Care

September 15, 2009

Having worked nearly 30 years in the intensive care unit setting, and having seen the evolution of this monstrous health care crisis, which germinated nearly a century ago with the contraceptive revolution, I will attempt to simply solve the crisis with an ounce of prevention rather than a trillion dollars of cure.

It will begin with holy sacramental marriages, and mothers migrating back to the home to take care of their children and the household. It will begin with children taking care of their elderly parents in the twilight of their lives. It will begin with the fostering of true religious vocations where holy nuns take care of the sick and elderly without cost, as Mother Teresa of Calcutta's nuns do. It will begin with cardinals, bishops, and priests who, like St. John the Baptist, condemn the errors of the Herods of this world, and not crucify little babies in the womb by honoring the Obamas and Kennedys of this world with honorary degrees and pomp-and-ceremony funerals. It will end with the restoration of the Christian family (not civil unions or perverse sodomite unions).

Hastening a human being's death is not assistance to suffering humanity but an abandonment. No treatment, or the withholding of treatment, should be the etiological cause of one's death, but only the direct result of the pathology, trauma, or disease. Murdering those with a poor quality of life or those with mild or severe cerebral anomalies by euphemisms such as "death with dignity," "quality of life," "brain death," "persistent vegetative state," "comatose," etc., will not lessen the gravity of the sin. No one is obligated to undergo extraordinary means to extend one's life, as long as these treatments will not ultimately bring about a reasonable probability of cure. However, hydration and nutrition, and any medicinal or therapeutic procedure that will facilitate health must be instituted.

While it is our duty to alleviate that pain which can be alleviated, death with dignity is not dying with sufficient opiates or quietly on a feather pillow, but having one's family and friends praying at your bedside while you are on your twelfth station of the Cross.

The soul of Catholic Universities

April 20, 2009

The battle over the soul of the Catholic universities began in 1967 with the Land O'Lakes "Declaration of Independence" and it will end at Notre Dame on May 17, 2009. The 1967 Land O'Lakes statement signaled mutiny by most of the Catholic universities of America. It was a declaration of liberation and independence from the Pope and Magisterium of the Church.

To date, 44 bishops, thousands of priests, and over 350,000 faithful have contacted President Jenkins of Notre Dame and asked him to rescind his invitation to pro-abortion President Obama. He was asked to give the commencement address and receive an honorary degree on May 17, 2009 during Notre Dame's graduation ceremonies. The USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) has made it clear in its directives that no "pro-abortion politician" may be invited to speak at or receive an honorary degree at any Catholic college or university.

Cardinal Ratzinger's commentary Ad Tuendam Fidem, and Pope John Paul II's Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae, state that members of faculty at Catholic colleges and universities must make a public profession of faith (Nicene-Constantinople Creed) and take the Oath of Fidelity to the ordinary of their diocese or his representative. It begins:

I, N., in assuming the office of __________, promise that in my words and in my actions I shall always preserve communion with the Catholic Church.

With great care and fidelity I shall carry out the duties incumbent on me toward the Church, both universal and particular, in which, according to the provisions of the law, I have been called to exercise my service.

In fulfilling the charge entrusted to me in the name of the Church, I shall hold fast to the deposit of faith in its entirety; I shall faithfully hand it on and explain it, and I shall avoid any teachings contrary to it.

I shall follow and foster the common discipline of the entire Church and I shall maintain the observance of all ecclesiastical laws, especially those contained in the Code of Canon Law.

If Notre Dame disobeys the Church on these matters, it must change its name and become a secular university and stop pretending to be a Catholic center of higher education. Pope John Paul II tells us: "Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the sin committed by the person who claims to have a right to persist in evil, and who thus rejects redemption." How prophetic a warning to this generation which insists it has the right to kill babies in the womb and wallow in the perverse sin of sodomy!

The Winds of Change

Sunday, April 19, 2009

The winds of change are surely blowing across America. As Americans are fixated on the economic instability sweeping across our land, immoral agendas are corroding the foundations of our society. "Fair is foul and foul is fair/Hover through the fog and filthy air." (McBeth - Act I scene i. line 10)

I travel extensively across the South with missionary and pro-life work and have held Respiratory Licenses in numerous states so that when I travel, I can work in Respiratory or Cardiopulmonary in these various states. Last week, I was called into the Arkansas State Board of Medical Examiners. This meeting had nothing to do with the practice of Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary technology or my practice of these disciplines over the last 28 years. The sole purpose of this meeting was over the "A" word.

Before they would give me my license in Arkansas, they wanted to be sure I would not let my staunch defense of life interfere with their agenda. This would seem to be to silence pro-lifers even in Catholic hospitals. After a barrage of questions introduced to label me as a pro-life fanatic unfit to work in any hospital in Arkansas, a member of the Board jumped up and said, "Would you try to talk anyone out of an abortion? We've actually had a few doctors who had the nerve to try to talk their patients out of an abortion." In answer to their questions, I simply replied, "I only work in Catholic hospitals which do not allow or perform abortions, so this is not an issue." In response, they said I will be seeing patients who weren't Catholic and those who had obtained an abortion and they didn't want me talking to them about the "A" word. So much for freedom of speech and freedom of religion in Catholic Hospitals.

It would constitute medical malpractice not to inform any patient of the adverse, harmful or deleterious effects of any medical procedure. This is called Informed Consent. It would be totally illogical not to inform a patient of the harm done to body and soul by this procedure except that surgical or chemical abortion is nothing other than the murdering of an innocent baby in his mother's womb; it wouldn't constitute a medical procedure so on these grounds no pre-op would be legally necessary.

A wise friend advised me to practice fortitude and be prudent like St. Thomas Moore when answering the Arkansas State Board's questions. I told him afterward that St. John the Baptist shouted from the rooftops while St. Thomas Moore practiced fortitude and prudence. Yet they both lost their heads. Precluding freedom of speech and freedom of conscience have never been a prerequisite for obtaining a Respiratory Therapy license in the past.

The winds of change are surely blowing and Obama is the windbag.

Revolution

Sat,  Nov 8, 2008

Nearly all evil regimes and pernicious tyrants have been born on the heals of economic collapse. They draw like maggots the dependent and those ignorant of the blessings wrought from virtue. They want revolutionary change for the sake of novelty or false security. The greatness of the Reagan era is that he inspired in Americans pride, honor and nobility, and that in life (like in the movies), good always prevails over evil. Virtue and the American way would bring about prosperity and not "our father who art in Washington." It was "God Our Father" Who would lead us to victory, by keeping His Commandments and not by our own strength. The Bush - Clinton - Bush era saw the slow selling of America to foreign anti-American regimes. Economic collapse and panic have ensued and along comes the charismatic revolutionary Obama promising hope to the fearful masses. A groundless hope based on empty promises, Obama is about change but not a change for good but an evil sinister revolution of socialism; another Animal Farm.

Betrayal

Sat,  Nov 8, 2008

Truth has been betrayed by the majority of the clergy in America, who should have defended it. Most of the media and clergy told their dubious listeners that there are no absolute truths or intrinsic evils and that one in good conscience could vote for those supporting abortion and sodomy. In the gubernatorial election of 1992, in response to Buddy Roemer's unpopular gubernatorial policies, Buddy Roemer was ousted by Edwin Edwards and David Duke in the governor's race. Duke was defeated by Edwards due to the media's clamoring of his unsavory ties to the KKK. The media responsibly told the facts and would not let his past fade into obscurity. The media's deafening silence to Obama's ties to racist groups shows their repugnant hypocrisy. Obama was the media's poster child and puppet of the National Abortion Federation, gay nation, NAACP and Islamic fascists. The stark difference between the David Duke's campaign and Obama's was that Duke ran on a pro-life, pro-family platform while Obama ran on a pro-abortion, pro-sodomite platform.

Being the first Black President of the United States, Obama's election was touted as a milestone in America's history. It would have been a milestone if an honest and noble man was elected. (The NAACP and media would have been up in arms if it was David Duke who was elected president.) Alan Keyes has run three times for the presidency, yet in the 2008 presidential debates, he was not even allowed to participate in the debates. He must not meet the NAACP's and the hypocritical media's criteria for membership in their political establishment.

2008 was indeed a milestone in American history. We now know that the civil rights leaders in America were not about civil rights but their own rights. Whatever happened to civil rights for babies in the womb? I truly believe that the American people weren't voting for Obama but for themselves. They saw it as, "Our father, who art in Washington, give us this day our daily bread. Amen."

Publicans vs. Demoncrats

Wed, Aug 6, 2008

I can not contemplate any greater evil, it is the father of despair, the greatest enemy of honor and virtue, and the greatest taunt of hell, than the temptation that all our good works are for naught and that ultimately evil prevails. This has led many good men to throw in the towel, wave the white flag, and flee from the battle. This lethargy has even entered the political realm. Many Christians proclaim that there is no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats, so that they will not vote for anyone. This cynicism and apathy frightens me more than all the forces of the enemies of Christendom.

How any Christian would not fulfill his civic duties and cop out by not taking a stance against the evils of our time and renege on their duty to vote and be part of the political process is beyond me. Some call them the "dream team," others the "mod squad," and still others the "odd couple." Who do I say that they are? They are the litmus tests of how morally decadent America will become during the next eight years if Obama or Hillary is elected to office. In past times, politicians at least feigned to espouse God, marriage, and morality. If they didn't, they could not be elected in the Bible Belt. It is inconceivable that a party that espouses sodomy, abortion, and ACLU-sponsored pornography would even get a voice in this November's election. I asked a Russian neighbor of mine what she thought about living through the horrors of atheistic communism. She became defensive and exclaimed, "What do you mean? There is really no difference between the Communist Party and the Democrats in your country" (no truer words were ever spoken).

The Publicans had better wake up and smell the stench, stand up for what is Godly, and not cower before what is "politically correct." Pope Benedict XVI iterated that, "A Catholic can not profess his faith at church and then promote political business, business, or medical practices, contrary to those beliefs." He said, "In a world without truth, freedom loses its foundation and a democracy without values loses its very soul." Christians, and others of good will, had better stand united and get involved in the political process, or the collapse of America is inevitable.

Apocalyptic

A task force of medical doctors, Homeland Security, Centers for Disease Control, and DHH recently set up guidelines for hospitals to use when widespread health care disasters from pandemics, epidemics, natural disasters, or war occur. While admitting that, "There are some real concerns here," the rules exclude care for the elderly, those with chronic diseases, and those whose wounds are severe or life-threatening, as to be too time-intensive. The government has allotted money to hospitals to buy portable disposable ventilators to prepare for a national emergency or mass casualties. Homeland Security has admitted that it is not a question of if, but of when, it happens. Having worked 27 years in intensive care, operating ventilators for critically ill patients, I recognize that no hospital in America is prepared for an influx of hundreds of critically ill patients, and that triage will be necessary to determine who will be given treatment and who will not.

However, I am more alarmed about the lack of concern for the causes of this dilemma, than for its consequences. Many are preparing for apocalyptic fallout, but nearly no one is preparing for conversion and repentance. Are our priests ready to give the sacraments to the dying under such horrific circumstances; to hear confessions and snatch from Satan's jaws those deep in sin, or will they just erroneously pronounce, "God forgives you," and run from the horror, leaving many in a state of despair. On that day, there will be only heroes (saints) and cowards (judases).

In our society, which prides itself on its advances in scientific technology and the progress it perceives as the result of an advanced evolutionary stage, and mocks the idea of an immortal soul made in God's image and likeness, my response to Phil Beavers' editorial is: Man reduces himself to "psychological slavery" when he attempts to reduce his existence to natural selection and negates his immortal soul!

Pope Benedict's Visit

On the eve of our Holy Father Benedict XVI's trip to the United States, many people in the media have been making derogatory comments about him. Last week, a friend of mine from Mississippi joined in with their barrage. I turned to him and asked him how many children did he have, knowing full well the answer. He replied, "I have three children." I asked him if any of them were living their Christian faith, or at least living exemplary lives. He shamefully admitted that none of his children were living a good exemplary Christian life. I told him that if he couldn't even keep three children in line, he had no right to criticize the pope who has over one billion children to teach, govern, and lovingly rule. The popes call themselves "servants of the servants of God."

Sadly to say, many of these children are ignorant, confused, wounded, and rebellious, either by scandal or ignorance of the loving teachings of Christ through His Church. We have been blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ that He has given His Church such saintly popes during the past century to lead us through these apocalyptic times. These modernists tout the heresy of individualism, the American icon, and clamor about individual rights, yet never fulfill their duties to God or neighbor. They are devoid of humility, honor, or courage.

The truths of our faith have often been blurred by heresy, apostasy, scandal, and betrayal, but have prevailed and shined magnificently and miraculously through the millions of saints who have been loving witnesses to the power of Christ's love, truth, and "miraculous and mysterious beauty of his creation!"

God bless you!

Survivor - by Maria Mahoney

Like Anne Frank, I too have a story. A story of hardship, sorrow,
long-suffering, and death. Yet through all the darkness the light of
truth, though eclipsed, has not been extinguished. This is my story:
I am a survivor of the most deadly war in human history, which has
claimed over 50 million American lives and over two billion lives
worldwide over the past 35 years. One-third of my peers have been
exterminated in the abortion concentration camps. Neither I nor
anyone born in 1973 or after have had any legal right to life! None of
us could have escaped the whim of another's choice! More sadly still,
it is to think that the perpetrators of such an abomination were not
some evil Nazi or communist dictator or tyrant, but of our own mothers!
What should be the safest and most peaceful moments of our lives
where we were rocked to sleep with the lullabye and harmonic symphony
of the loving heartbeat of our mother has become the deadliest battleground
in history! More tragic still is the memorial wall of the billions of babies
slaughtered is not written on some marble or granite wall but on the hearts
of these mothers! "You can rip a baby from its mother's womb, but not from
its mother's heart." Abortion has pitted a mother against her own baby.
In human history there has never been known any greater love or bond than
that of a mother and her baby. How tragic the slogan, "Abortion: One dead,
one wounded." You will always remember the child you never knew.

My prayer for January 22, 2008, is that no more names will be written on the
American Holocaust wall, and that once again the most loving place to be
in America is in our mothers' wombs. Yes, we, those born after 1973, have a story!

Christmas 2007

While checking out my groceries at a local market, the cashier wished
me, "Happy Holiday." I retorted, "May you have a holy and blessed
Christmas, and may our Lord Jesus Christ give you His Peace." All
history and time is marked and centered around the birth of our Lord
Jesus Christ (Anno Domini). Yet the greatest day in human history is
the Incarnation of our Lord. "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt
among us," (John 1:14) begotten of the Father and conceived by the
Holy Spirit in time.

When announced, the baby John the Baptist lept in the womb for joy
(Baby, not embryo or fetus). (Luke 39: 40) The world is anticipating the
birth of our Lord with joy amidst the constant backdrop of death.

On this joyful Advent Season, I'm reminded of a little old Haitian lady
who used to rock on the front porch of her shack in Miami Florida. She
was always full of joy and a comforting word. Her neighbor was a grumpy
old man who constantly complained of all that was wrong with the world
without doing a thing to change it. She quietly and calmly only spoke of
the goodness of God to him. He retorted one day, "You would probably
have something good to say even about the devil." She thought for a
moment, and exclaimed, "Yeah, he sure aint lazy!"

Have a holy and blessed Christmas and follow the words of Mother Teresa,
"It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."

And the Light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness did
not comprehend it. That was the true light, which enlighteneth
every man that cometh into this world.
John 1:4  - 1:9.

God bless.
