Survivor - by Maria Mahoney

Like Anne Frank, I too have a story. A story of hardship, sorrow,
long-suffering, and death. Yet through all the darkness the light of
truth, though eclipsed, has not been extinguished. This is my story:
I am a survivor of the most deadly war in human history, which has
claimed over 50 million American lives and over two billion lives
worldwide over the past 35 years. One-third of my peers have been
exterminated in the abortion concentration camps. Neither I nor
anyone born in 1973 or after have had any legal right to life! None of
us could have escaped the whim of another's choice! More sadly still,
it is to think that the perpetrators of such an abomination were not
some evil Nazi or communist dictator or tyrant, but of our own mothers!
What should be the safest and most peaceful moments of our lives
where we were rocked to sleep with the lullabye and harmonic symphony
of the loving heartbeat of our mother has become the deadliest battleground
in history! More tragic still is the memorial wall of the billions of babies
slaughtered is not written on some marble or granite wall but on the hearts
of these mothers! "You can rip a baby from its mother's womb, but not from
 its mother's heart." Abortion has pitted a mother against her own baby.
In human history there has never been known any greater love or bond than
 that of a mother and her baby. How tragic the slogan, "Abortion: One dead,
one wounded." You will always remember the child you never knew.

My prayer for January 22, 2008, is that no more names will be written on the
American Holocaust wall, and that once again the most loving place to be
in America is in our mothers' wombs. Yes, we, those born after 1973, have a story!

Christmas 2007

While checking out my groceries at a local market, the cashier wished
me, "Happy Holiday." I retorted, "May you have a holy and blessed
Christmas, and may our Lord Jesus Christ give you His Peace." All
history and time is marked and centered around the birth of our Lord
Jesus Christ (Anno Domini). Yet the greatest day in human history is
the Incarnation of our Lord. "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt
among us," (John 1:14) begotten of the Father and conceived by the
Holy Spirit in time.

When announced, the baby John the Baptist lept in the womb for joy
(Baby, not embryo or fetus). (Luke 39: 40) The world is anticipating the
birth of our Lord with joy amidst the constant backdrop of death.

On this joyful Advent Season, I'm reminded of a little old Haitian lady
who used to rock on the front porch of her shack in Miami Florida. She
was always full of joy and a comforting word. Her neighbor was a grumpy
old man who constantly complained of all that was wrong with the world
without doing a thing to change it. She quietly and calmly only spoke of
the goodness of God to him. He retorted one day, "You would probably
have something good to say even about the devil." She thought for a
moment, and exclaimed, "Yeah, he sure aint lazy!"

Have a holy and blessed Christmas and follow the words of Mother Teresa,
"It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."

And the Light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness did
not comprehend it. That was the true light, which enlighteneth
every man that cometh into this world.

Choose who you will serve

Last month President Bush toured the scourged, ravaged State of California and told the citizens of that state, "Better days are coming." I am extremely pessimistic about "better times are coming" when, over the last several years, military chaplains have been threatened and court-martialed over professing the Lord Jesus Christ to soldiers instead of proselytizing the god of nature or the generic god of all religions.

It seems as if the ACLU-driven politicians want to use God only to make men feel more comfortable about killing for their nation. Also, it is very sobering to note that many more young men have died in the streets of our cities over the last several years than in the war in Iraq. It is actually safer to be in Iraq than in many American cities. While our nation has mobilized to fight wars against religious zealots, we fund the tyranny of abortion, sodomy, pornography, and atheistic communism in China that is killing billions worldwide.

"Our father who art in Washington" promises to save us Publicans with the conservative gospel of prosperity and the Demoncrats mobilizing their clientele with the fear of things to come. The major difference between the parties is that the Demoncrats have solidified their evil agenda and promote it in their platform. That is why the Publicans are not the solution. Yet the Demoncrats are not an option. If the Publicans will not fight for the truth, then the Constitution Party may be the only option for the Christian vote.

Elijah told the idolatrous children of Israel, "Choose who you will serve." Christians must decide this coming year whom they choose to serve. When the light of divine revelation is extinguished, all that is left for humanity is the pursuit of pleasure. All that is beautiful and sublime slowly degenerates into futility or existentialism. The cure is plain to see, but the medicine is so distasteful that most Christians will not take their teaspoonful. If that is so, in 2008 we will sell our birthright to Hitlery and the Demoncratic Party.

Global Warming and Faith

While constantly fighting to persuade people to stop polluting God's planet, of which we have been made stewards, I have a healthy skepticism when I hear people like Al Gore scream that global warming is the result of modern technology. I do not jump at the scream of every tree-hugger, especially when they are running around the world in Lear jets. I take Mother Teresa of Calcutta seriously. She spoke about the plight of the poor while she lived and suffered with them. It is actually amazing what power these environmentalists wield. TSU stopped building eleven powerplants at their beckoning. It is my understanding that volcanos, lightning, and fires emit much more greenhouse gas than all of our modern technological innovations. While we should treat God's footstool with reverence, our main concern should be how we treat God's children.

My grandfather lived through the industrial revolution. My father the technological revolution. We are living through the genetic revolution, whose consequences will be far more reaching. Genetic engineering is an adventure "to where there is no return!" The great strides of nanotechnology will either enable humanity to fight certain diseases or eradicate the whole human race. It has the far reaching potential to program each and every individual as if he were a computer or a robot. The new generation of computers will be DNA computers, using DNA bases adenine-thymine and cytosine-guanine, switched on and off with photons replacing the current binary code (0-1) data signals processed by microprocessors, transistor switches that pass or stop pulses of current.

With the completion of the genome project and the explosion of the scientific knowledge of genetics man, not space, has become the new frontier. A frontier from which mankind may never return. His choice will be the Son of God and life, or the son of perdition and death!

Partial Birth Abortion

Some discourses are so incredulous only the intelligentia can understand them. This can be applied to the dissenters of the Supreme Court decision to ban Partial Birth Abortion.  I challenge those Justices who dissented from the ban to explain to me how inducing a breech delivery on a woman (which would be life threatening in and of itself) and sucking the brains out of a baby who has already been delivered and whose cavarian is sitting in the cervical os can save the life of a mother?  

The abortionists, by manipulating a breech delivery, is the villianist character who is not only killing a baby ¾ out the birth canal but is putting the mother in a life threatening position by a breech delivery.  Conversely, defunct abortionist James Whitmore III, MD wrote in his lawsuit to keep partial birth abortion legal that “the ban would encompass D & E procedures.” Whitmore also declares that “during the D & E procedure, a part of the fetus protrudes from or is pulled through the cervical os before the fetus is fully removed.  It is possible that the fetus (baby) is living when part of the fetus is within the uterus and part is outside, because it is extremely difficult to know precisely when fetal demise occurs.  Thus, all D & E procedures could be considered partial birth abortion.”  

To get to the crux of the matter, show an ultrasound to any child and ask them to tell you what they see.  They will tell you, “A baby.”  If it is a baby, then abortion is murder.  “Blessed is the fruit of thy womb!”  Satan and abortion have cursed the womb and have brought upon fathers and mothers the curse of Cain.

Easter Resurrection

With the preparation for Lent on Shrove Tuesday and the walk with our Lord Jesus Christ in the desert for forty days and nights to fast and pray, Christian have begun their ascent to Calvary and a new life on the glorious Easter Resurrection.

The severity of God's justice and the infinite depths of His mercy are simultaneously wrought on the Cross of Christ. Christ has warned us of the Pharisee and the publican. The publican sinner fears that he will never be forgiven by God or presumptuously sins with what he imagines is impunity, while the just Pharisee fears that he will become like the vile sinner he abhors. Let us become like the Immaculate Virgin Mary who, though redeemed by Christ, "never added to His sufferings by any sins or omissions." Though singularly preserved in grace, and Immaculately Conceived, the humble "handmaid of the Lord" responded to grace and "heard the word of God and kept it." She is the glory of the human race, queen of angels and men, and "all generations shall call her blessed." Let us follow the Blessed Virgin Mary's example and come to the foot of the Cross, so that the rays of Divine Mercy which shone forth for souls from the blood and water that gushed from His sacred side, will make us a new creation in Christ, a resurrection of love and life.

There is a divine limit imposed on evil: Divine Mercy. The sacramental sign of His Body given up and His Blood poured out! Now is the time for mercy, justice will follow!

Moral Indifference

As the clock ticks down to my 50th birthday, 2007 will be a big milestone in my pilgrimage to eternity. While walking down memory lane, I realized that I have been very blessed to have been able to administer to, and talk with, over 100,000 patients during the past 26 years. Some have lived more than 100 years. A few were actually born at the end of the nineteenth century, lived through the twentieth century, and have awakened to glimpse the twenty-first century.

When asking one lady who was more than 100 years old what she thought about the changes she experienced over the century, I was struck by her candid response. She thought modern conveniences, comforts and technology were the greatest things, and that she wouldn't want to go back to the “good old days” when one had to work hard merely to survive. Sadly, she lamented the sinfulness and degenerative perversity that has plagued America over the past 50 years and the luxury and convenience that cajoled this hedonistic lifestyle. Yet, when pinned down to what she would choose if presented with a life of pleasure and comfort or a life of penitential purity, she begrudgingly chose the life of ease, even though it meant having to deadbolt her door even in the daytime, and have a security system.

In my naivete, I was certain that she would have chosen a life of prayer and hard work. How we live in a plane of moral indifference. Batter's up, and the hardball game of money vs. morality. In this truly American world series, money has a 2-0 advantage in the bottom of the ninth inning. Will Christians hit a home run with the bases loaded, or strike out to the curveball of comfort!

On Modesty

"Once upon a time, in the good old days," Catholics outdid themselves
bathing and putting on their Sunday best to enter into the Holy of Holies
of the Great King, our Lord Jesus Christ. Modesty and temperance were
the norm, and the Marian Code of Dress was adhered to by all faithful Catholics.

Then, in the 1960s, Catholic women abandoned the veil and started donning
their peacock hats so they could follow the fashion of Jacqueline Kennedy.
Satan then entered the very sanctuary of the Church and now churchgoers
are trying to outdo each other in undressing. Immodesty and godless fashions
prevail even in the Holy of Holies. Even pagans dress more appropriately for
their pagan banquets than those attending the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass,
the Mystery of Faith.

The silence of pastors is leading the flock into a life of moderate apostasy.
Those who do not strive for heroic virtue will eventually lose any natural virtue
they may have possessed. St. Padre Pio would not give Holy Communion
or absolution to anyone who was immodestly dressed, nor should any holy
priest. Let's stand up and be counted!

Letter: ‘EC’ pill has postfertilization effect

I would like to respond to the common inaccuracies found in articles
regarding “emergency contraception” (EC), such as that in “FDA OKs
nonprescription sales of morning-after pill,” by Associated Press writer
Andrew Bridges published on your front page Aug. 25.

Proponents of EC often state that it does not cause abortions. However,
the best models of EC efficacy estimate that much of the time this method
acts to end a pregnancy after fertilization has already occurred.

Fertilization, the fusion of a sperm and egg, is the beginning of life for each
unique human being. It occurs in the fallopian tube. It takes approximately
5 to 9 days for this newly conceived human being to travel through the tube
to the uterus (womb) where it implants.

EC can act after fertilization by interfering with the further development of
the embryo, inhibiting its transport through the tube or interfering with
implantation in the uterus.

Even the makers of Plan B, the method approved for over-the-counter use
by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, admit to this postfertilization
effect in their prescribing information. For those women, physicians and
pharmacists who believe that life begins at fertilization, a postfertilization
effect causes an early abortion.

Women should be told about this in the interests of informed consent and
to prevent emotional harm from realizing this after the fact. When proponents
of EC say that it does not cause abortions, they are relying on an arbitrary
definition of pregnancy which states that it begins with implantation of the
embryo in the uterus.

This new definition was first promoted in the late ’60s and early ’70s by
the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists when it was
realized that oral contraceptives had a postfertilization effect.

Claims are also made that over-the-counter use of EC will decrease
unwanted pregnancies. In fact, the only studies that exist of easy access
to EC in the United States and in Europe show that it has no effect on
pregnancy rates.

The packaging insert for Plan B admits to an increased rate of potentially
fatal ectopic pregnancy. Severe nausea is also a frequent side effect.
The hormone dose in EC is 20 times that in oral contraceptives.

EC does not decrease the rate of unwanted pregnancy, is potentially
dangerous and causes early abortions. Despite these facts, proponents
of EC such as Planned Parenthood (who will make a bundle dispensing
it at more than $40 per pack) have already vowed to lobby for easy
access for adolescent girls.

How long before they introduce legislation mandating coverage for EC
by governmental agencies and private insurance companies and employers?

Jihad Is Condemned

In the Christian west insults, contempt and blasphemy are constantly
hurled against our Almighty God and His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ, under the guise of art and entertainment. No outrage is broadcast,
no repercussion is felt. How little we love God and our Lord Jesus Christ!
Conversely, devout Muslims pray openly six times a day and will fight and
die if anyone insults Islam. Muslim zealousness, prayerfulness, and love
of Allah should be emulated by all devout Christians towards Christ our
Lord! Christianity has always viewed Islam as heresy and a threat to the
Christian world due to jihad and its treatment of non-Islamic "infidels."
The Crusades were a response to Islamic jihad overrunning Christian
Europe in the Middle Ages. Nearly a thousand years of conflict between
the Christian west and Islamic east was replaced during the nineteenth
and twentieth centuries by a new threat of fascism, nazism and communism.  
Now that communism has been mostly eradicated, except in China and
Cuba, the threat of the Islamic world against the now non-Christian pagan
secular humanist west is very real. Yet this time the love of God and our
Lord Jesus Christ will not save the west, due to the fact that secular
humanists cannot and will not stand up for anything except the right to
be immoral. They view democracy, not as a means for freedom of worship
and the right to life, but as a panacea for immorality, sodomy and abortion.
Christians had better see the handwriting on the wall or pack their bags for
another exile into Babylon.

Pope Benedict XVI has called for reciprocity in the Christian Muslim
relationships calling on all Muslim nations to honor the religious freedoms
of all faiths and denominations, as is done in the Western democracies.  
His condemnation of Islamic Jihad and prohibition of Christianity in many
Muslim nations is not unfounded.  Christianity is outlawed in Egypt; nearly
1.5 million Christians have been murdered since the 1983 institution of Islamic
Shariah in Sudan.  Hezbollah is touting the militant Shariah law in Lebanon.  
Let us shame the devil and tell the truth for once.  The media's hypocritical
coverage of the Pope's speech on Islam, dialogue with Muslim countries and
terrorism has reached new heights in the United States.  These news anchors
need to focus on the lack of religious tolerance and the promotion of terrorism
in Islamic countries and not condemn the Pope for pointing them out.

Choose God's Plan

As the morality of our country plummets to a new low with the legalization
of the “morning after pill” (Plan B), the twin towers of love and life are
crumbling before our eyes.  August 24, 2006 is one of the worst days in
the history of our nation.  Fornication and murder are now sold next to the
chewing gum in our grocery stores and pharmacies.  In God's Plan, Plan A
is marriage and Plan B is children.


Whoever enters into married life
Enters into a life of sharing and caring
Giving and forgiving, loving and being loved
If each lover sees through the other's eyes
Always trusting and believing
And thanking God for one another
Their souls will blossom together
For a love that is shared is a heavenly thing
By its melody it brings new life to the soul
Walking hand in hand
Sharing each other in body and soul
Comes a child
Flesh of our flesh
Soul of light divine
Children are our source of light and warmth
A symbol of our life and love together.


In this godless country, Plan A is fornication and Plan B is murdering
the child of conception.  The FDA recently declared that the morning
after pill works by preventing ovulation or implantation of the newly
formed baby.  Statistically nearly 25 - 50% of women taking the pill
would have already ovulated.  So in 25 - 50% of women taking the pill,
the “morning after pill” would act as an abortifacient, preventing the
implantation of the newly formed baby.  

Pope Benedict XVI said: “We are not some casual or meaningless
product of conception or evolution.  Each of us is the result of the
thought of God.  Each of us is willed, each of us is loved and each
of us is necessary!”

“Truly you have formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's
womb. I give you thanks, Almighty God, that I am fearfully, wonderfully
made; wonderful are your works.” (Psalm 139)

Victory over Death
Exhilaration and praise resounded from the lips of devout Christians in Ann Arbor,
Michigan recently when the Women's Choice Center run by abortionist Robert
Alexander closed down.  Edmund Miller and Alicia Wong had prayed and counseled
outside this murder mill for years and had watched as thousands of innocent babies
were led into the holocaust chamber to be executed by their own fathers and mothers.  

On entering the death camp, she entered the rooms where tens of thousands of innocent
babies were brutally tortured and murdered.  She gazed at the table where the mothers'
laid to abort their children and this is what she saw:

I saw despair lying there; lying there in the faces of women who could not accept
love really exists and if it did, it would never exist for them!

I saw anger lying there; life was seen as a loveless, joyless proposition, whereas
murder was even better!

I saw helplessness lying there; helpless women herded toward abortion by family
or friends who believed their duty was to allow nothing outside their own pleasure to live!

I saw laughter lying there; the laughter of women who thought life was a joke!

Abortion clinics are the modern day concentration camps where women are driven by the
tide of their own sins, anger, fears and despair.  You can rip a baby from its mother's womb
but not from its mother's heart.  How many tears do mothers have to shed over the blood of
their murdered children before America and the world repents of this senseless and brutal
debasement of mothers.

America needs to come to grips with the stark reality that they have perpetuated a holocaust
against innocent babies in the womb and begin repentance by erecting a tomb for the unknown
baby and a American Holocaust Wall in Washington D.C.  Former abortion clinics need to be
turned into American Holocaust Memorials so that we NEVER FORGET!

Da Vinci Blasphemy

May 19, 2006 will be a day of infamy across America in the Holy Roman Catholic Church.

Christians should don sackcloth and ashes and weep over the blasphemous movie, The Da Vinci Code to be released on that day. The Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ have fled to safer ground allowing our Lord to be crucified anew. They have concluded that it is better to proclaim the truth than to condemn the error and blasphemy. (Yet only a few weeks earlier they encouraged Christians to take to the streets, break the law and skip work to fight for the illegal immigrants.) The only difference between Judas’ betrayal and that of apostate Christians who bought the Da Vinci Code and now are going to see the movie is that Judas received 30 pieces of silver in payment to betray Christ and now the enemies of truth are paying for the opportunity to betray our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of God..

Pastors have been asked if it is a sin to go and pay to watch the Da Vinci Code. Many have been told that it is up to their conscience. I reply with the words of our Lord Jesus Christ: “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.”(Mt. 12) Proclaiming that our Lord Jesus was just a man and not the Son of God who has been raised from the dead is a lie and a blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. And to imply that he had fornicated with Mary Magdelene is a vile perversity. It is sad our separated brethren in Christ have not spoken out against these blasphemous lies. Sadly to say, it is that many of them have only one thing in common theologically; they do not consider that the Holy Roman Catholic Church is the Church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even though this film blasphemes Christ, it is a direct affront to the Roman Catholic Church and this has brought about their silence! Satan, the father of lies, has again possessed the children of men to believe his lies and drink the cup of sorrow. Many will weep when the Spirit of Truth convicts them of following him in rebellion! God convert America!

(Rev 12:1) "And a great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; she was with child." Our century has seen the great battle between the dragon and his antichrists (the Red Army), and our Lord Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary's Blue Army of Christian Soldiers. Now the final battle has begun. Satan and his cohorts have promised again to the children of Adam, "You can be like God." Yet this time, the old serpent not only promises man knowledge but "the keys of life and death." As the battle rages over the right to life versus the right to kill an innocent baby in the womb, NARAL, NOW, Planned Barrenhood (Planned Parenthood) use the language of lies and seduction. Our Lord's language is love and charity. We must distinguish the language of lies and seduction from the language of truth and love.

The communists' secret police, the KGB, told Christians, "Preach Christ, but do not denounce or condemn communism." Today that same warning is given to Christians in Communist China. Millions are still being tortured and murdered in communist and Islamic countries for the sake of the Gospel of Christ. What these tyrants do by force, America does by media manipulation. Preach Christ, but do not condemn immodesty, impurity, pornography, contraceptives, abortion, sodomy, genetic engineering, etc. It is tragic that Christians fight so timidly for the truth while apostates and merchants of impurity and death fight with all their souls on the side of evil.. America is slowly falling by the love of money and pleasure, and the fear of future evils. We do not repent. I will echo Abraham Lincoln's response to hypocrisy like ours. "If it comes to this, I shall prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretense of loving liberty." The evil in our country is starkly apparent. If we are to free the world from tyranny we must work to rid America of the culture of death. President Bush must be courageous and sign a Human Life Amendment which like the Emancipation Proclamation led to the abolition of slavery. The Human Life Amendment will protect all human beings from the moment of conception to the moment of natural death.

The cliche, "If you cannot be a shining example to your children,
then you will at least be a great warning to them," can be applied
to our baby-booming narcisstic generation. We have passed on
the torch of death to Generation X, the "Death-Roe" generation.

No one in America born after January 22, 1973 was entitled to
"life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." As with the condemned
at Auschwitz, their life or death was at the whim of another.
Yet this time, instead of the Gestapo, one's own mother was
the executioner. Margaret Sanger (Nazgul) and Planned Barrenhood
(alias Planned Parenthood) have unleashed a worldwide culture of
death in peddling impurity, contraception, abortion, and genocide.
It is sad that God, love and life do not unite people as much as
do licentiousness, hatred and revenge.

With impurity, licentiousness and murder firmly rooted, Satan,
Sauron and Sodomy (SSS) are now beginning their final assault
on mankind. The destruction of the family! Our ode to God, love
and life, and the destruction of the Ring (our rebellious will) will
bring the SSS to its death.

"Never Again!"

With heartfelt sorrow I was deeply moved by the article written in the Catholic Commentator of David Faber's horrific witness of the Nazi Holocaust. The horror of witnessing his family and relatives tortured and brutally murdered by the Nazi soldiers led him to plead with the Catholic High School students: "Never let this happen again!"

Several blocks from where he was pleading "Never Again!", we watched as 14 boxes of murdered babies were loaded into a truck in front of Delta Women's Clinic on 756 Colonial Dr. Baton Rouge to be driven to the crematorium. These innocent babies in the womb were tortured,dismembered, murdered and then packaged in biohazard waste bags to be piled on to trucks labeled "biohazardous waste" to be taken to the incinerator. Yet not a word was mentioned about the "American Holocaust". Abortion has claimed more casualties and deaths than all the wars in history put together and is the worlds most satanic conflict.

I pray that David Faber and all the Catholic High School students come with their priests to the American Holocaust Memorial on Bennington Ave, Baton Rouge to ask God's forgiveness for having allowed hundreds of thousands of babies in the womb to be brutally murdered and then ground up in garbage disposals or incinerated. While force can be used to subdue and restrain evil, only Love (Our Lord Jesus, The Incarnate Word made Flesh) can conquer evil. Abortion is not an aid to desperate humanity but an abandonment.

I pray that during this season of Advent that the Immaculate Virgin Mary will touch the hearts of fathers and mothers to love their babies and make room for them in their hearts and wombs so that the Baby Jesus will find in the world a place of comfort and refuge and not hear again: There is no room in the Inn!

Hurricane Katrina

Jeremiah 20: 7 - 9 “You duped me, O LORD, and I let myself be duped; you were too strong for me and you triumphed.  All the day I am an object of laughter; everyone mocks me.  Whenever I speak, I must cry out, violence and outrage is my message; the word of the LORD has brought me derision all the day.”

Was Hurricane Katrina an act of God or an act of Mother Nature?  Was man created by God or a product of natural selection and evolution?  Is this just drivel from a doomsday prophet or a divine warning from God that the seed of corruption has taken root and is destroying our nation?  Evil had begun with a few, but has now spread throughout out nation.  We won't be saved by the Publicans, yet we could be doomed by Demoncrats who espouse abortion, sodomy and ACLU protected pornography.  Democracy is not a panacea for immorality.

“When God's sovereign authority and commandments are rejected, any basis for morality is undermined and rejected.”  Many will take up arms to fight a hostile foe, so few will take up the Cross to conquer the real enemy: sin, satan and death!  History has shown that evil does not go unpunished!

My prayer is not “God bless America,” but “God convert America.”  Let us not lament the loss of property and money from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, but the loss of our souls that allowed contraception, abortion, sodomy, drinking, drugs, pornography and gambling to infest our state and country.

The death which nature, disasters and men threaten us is nothing compared with the eternal life our Lord Jesus Christ has given us both here and in eternity!

Echoing and Paraphrasing Martin Luther King "I Have a Dream"

Ten score and ten years ago, the Declaration of Independence declared that all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights. This momentous decree gave hope to all people who desired religious freedom and life, liberty and the pursuit of holiness. This momentous decree came as a great beacon of light, of hope, to the millions of people worldwide who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.

Thirty-two years later the child in the womb is still shackled by the chains of discrimination and murder. The baby in the womb is still languishing in the medical clinics and hospitals throughout the four corners of America, and finds himself an outcast and refuse in his own land.

So we come here today to dramatize an appalling condition. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men and women would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!

Yet, "One dark day in January of 1973, SATAN donned judicial robes! Robes flowing, gavel in hand, he swept onto the floor of the United States Supreme Court. He presided over the most atrocious travesty of justice that ever took place, and he declared - we now have the 'right' to murder the most innocent babies in their mothers' wombs, in what should be the safest place in the universe for them! And since then, tens of millions of babes have been assassinated in their own mothers' wombs! The darkness indeed grows deeper."

Although every holocaust or civil rights violation ever perpetuated is an unprecedented event, the homicidal scourge of abortion has led to a perverse and homicidal philosophy which has thrust us into an era of massive attacks on human life unprecedented in history.

Although it is much easier to express outrage than to stand up bravely, those who want to win the world for Christ must have the courage to come in conflict with it. We have been coerced to believe that it is better to expose the truth than to condemn the error. Apparent peace, bought and paid for by the cowardice creates an abyss where previously there had only been a ditch. Dr. Martin Luther King declared to his adversaries who denounced him for putting his morality on other people that, "I am not here to regulate morality, but to restrain the heartless." Our country's heritage in recognizing basic human and civil rights for all is in the finest tradition of past civil rights movements.

Lincoln's words resound again today in America. On many a defeated field there was a voice louder than the thunder of a cannon. It was the voice of God crying, "Let my people go." … "Great multitudes begged and prayed that I might answer God's voice by signing the Emancipation Proclamation, and I did so believing we never should be successful in the great struggle unless the God of Battles has been on our side." Lincoln realized that the Civil War was a judgment by Almighty God over the sin of slavery. In his Second Inaugural Address, he said, "Fondly do we hope, fervently do we pray, that this mighty scourge of war may speedily pass away. Yet if God wills it to continue, until all the wealth piled up by the bondsmen's 250 years of unrequited toil shall be sunk, until every drop of blood drawn by the lash shall be paid by another drawn by the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said that the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether." As the Civil War, with God's judgment upon America for the sin of slavery, a greater judgment is on America for the sin of abortion. Today we see the horrifying work of God's hand in the signs and judgments already upon us because of the legalized murder of innocent babies in their mothers' wombs. The blood of Abel and that of all the murdered innocents cries to heaven for justice, and America will shed tears for every drop of blood shed by these innocent victims. (Gen 9:6) "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for God made man in his own image." If we do not heed these warnings, we will read these words upon entering the abyss: "Give up all hope, all ye who enter here."

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the Christian pro-lifer. There will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the babies in their mother's wombs are granted their full citizenship rights. The whirlwind of revolt will continue to shake the foundation of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy justice by violence or hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high planes of truth and justice. We must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with the love of Christ.
There are those asking the devotees of civil rights of the baby in the womb, "When will you be satisfied?" We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. Man has given himself over to a lie in search of an illusionary freedom apart from the truth itself. The beginning of freedom is to be free from sin.

The defense and protection of life is not the ministry of a few but the responsibility of all. We should be by grace what our Lord Jesus was by nature, a child of God, and a child of the Immaculate Virgin.

I am not unmindful that many of you have come here out of great trial and tribulation. Some from the narrow cells of prison where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Conformity to our Lord Jesus Christ enables us to achieve union with Him!

Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to Louisiana, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed. I still have a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal." I have a dream that one day the sons of pro-lifers and the sons of former abortionists will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood and see that never again will blood be shed against the most innocent babies in the womb. I have a dream that Mississippi sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice and become the first state in our nation freed from the bonds of baby-murdering clinics. I have a dream that one day my children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by their size but by the sacredness of their humanity.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together. This is our hope.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims' pride, from every mountainside let freedom ring." And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true. When we let freedom ring from every village, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children will be free at last.

John Paul The Great

June 9, 2005

It has been nearly a month since John Paul II has been laid to rest and his remarkable life has been eulogized in the media throughout the world.  Leaders of nearly every nation paid their last respects to the Pope and acknowledged his great achievements for the Roman Catholic Church and for people throughout the world.  

Not to reiterate what has already been said, I feel that John Paul II's greatest single virtue and characteristic was that he truly loved and prayed for those who persecuted him, the church and people under tyranny.  He condemned Nazism, Communism, unbridled capitalism and the culture of death, yet he assisted in the collapse of these perverse ideologies and regimes by showing man his dignity and the splendor of the truth.  He told the world “man is created a little less than the angels and not a little higher than the apes.”  He was created for glory as children of God the Father.  

May Cardinal Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI, receive a twofold portion of John Paul II's spirit and lead the church through its painful purification.  Pope Benedict XVI's main apostolate will be to restore orthodox Catholicism to the seminaries, Catholic schools and universities.  The new evangelization will begin with the restoration of Catholic education and health care, which will promote the dignity and sacredness of marriage, family and church.

Innocence Murdered

Once again, satan has donned judicial robes and ordered the murder of the innocent. As with abortion, Terri Schiavo war ordered executed by judicial tyrants. Once again, “silence” on the part of most of the clergy has helped the oppressor not the oppressed. We spent Good Friday in Wichita, Kansas in front of the most infamous killer in history, “Tiller the Killer’s Murder Mill.” When we heard the news that Terri Schiavo’s tube feeding was not going to be reinstated, that she was ordered to be starved to death like St. Maximillian Kolbe at Auschwitz, our hearts were pierced with a sword. Not only because Terri was being murdered by her adulterous, estranged husband, but also because the people of Florida were not rescuing her from these vicious murderers. Like the Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mary Schindler (Terri’s mother) wept at the excruciating passion of her daughter by starvation. Judgment is on America.

Our saintly Pope John Paul II has shown us how to live not only by great encyclicals but also by his life. He united his sufferings with Christ for the sake of His Body, the Church. He spent himself out of love for Christ and his flock. In March 2004, Pope John Paul II addressed an international congress of health care professionals convened in Rome to discuss the scientific advances and ethical dilemmas in comatose states. He declared unequivocally “The sick person in a comatose state still has the right to basic health care. The administration of food and water, even when provided by artificial means always represents a natural means of preserving life, not a medical act. Its use furthermore, should be considered in principle, ordinary and proportionate, and as such morally obligatory. Death by starvation or dehydration is, in fact, the only possible outcome as a result of their withdrawal. If done knowingly and willingly, it is euthanasia by omission.”

Hastening a human being’s death is not assistance to suffering human beings but abandonment. No treatment or the withholding of treatment should be the etiological cause of one’s death but only the direct result of the pathology, anomaly, disease or trauma. Murdering those with mild or severe cerebral anomalies by euphemisms, “brain dead, persistent vegetative state, comatose, etc.” will not lessen the gravity of the sin.

ODE TO THE DEMONCRATS

A number of people gathered together at work to watch the proceedings of the Demoncratic Convention in Boston to listen to the new leader of the 4th Reich, John Kerry. After listening to such inspirational charismatic speakers, such as Clinton, Sharpton, Jackson, Edwards and Kerry, a dedicated acolyte stood up saluted and sang an ode:

Our father who art in Washington, shallow be thy name, thy pragmatic secular humanistic, utilitarian state on all America as the demoncrats have it in Washington. Give us this day our daily welfare, food stamps, entitlements, soda and chips and pay for our STD’s, contraceptives, abortafacients, CAB’s, CVA’s and diabetes. Forgive our fellow democrats as we turn a blind eye to the holocaust and lead us into temptation (pornography, ACLU) and deliver us from the fanatic Conservative Christian Right.

If you get inspired to say “Our Father Who art in Heaven”, bite your sacrilegious tongue and know that in this great, free country of ours the ACLU says that you may only use God’s name in vain or in a curse but never to praise, worship and adore.

The demoncrats are proclaiming to all patriotic Americans, we are the way, the truth and the light and we have come to set you free. Personally, I would rather be a slave for God.

Kerry the Killer.

I will never forget the day my oldest daughter Maria received our Lord in first Holy Communion at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Since she was receiving at an earlier age than usual, Father Spriggs drilled her vigorously on her faith and her readiness to receive Our Lord. After an hour's examination, Father concluded that Maria was ready to receive Our Lord in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. What he said next will remain with me for life: Father Spriggs told Maria that the reason he drilled her so vigorously was that it is the priest's sole responsibility to safeguard Our Lord and make sure that no one receives Him without being in the state of grace or, if they are as young as she was, to have full knowledge and holiness (after First Confession) to receive Our Lord.

I wish Father Spriggs were still alive today. He surely would have personally barred John Kerry from committing sacrilege by entering into a Catholic church and receiving Holy Communion. Would that Our Lord raise up holy and courageous cardinals and bishops who, like St. John the Baptist, condemn the sacrilege of these baptized pagans. If what was reported in the Advocate last week is true, where the Diocese of Baton Rouge commented that receiving Holy Communion is up to the person and not the priest, the Baton Rouge diocese has scandalized and perverted the teachings of Christ. Canon Law states that public sins, such as politicians voting for or promoting abortion, need to be repudiated publicly before that person may receive Holy Communion, so as not to lead the faithful to believe that one can support and promote abortion (which the Church calls an unspeakable crime and which brings de facto excommunication) and receive the sacraments.

Former State Senator Carlin of Rhode Island wrote, "Vast numbers of Catholics continue to vote, election after election, for the pro-choice Members of Congress, and many of the pro-choice politicians they vote for are themselves Catholic. It is not too much to say that the political good fortune of the abortion movement has for several decades depended on an unholy alliance between atheists and Catholics. The secularists provided the leadership, while the Catholics provided the votes and many of the politicians." The smoke of Satan has indeed entered the very Tabernacle of the Church. The abomination of desolation has reached its highest peak in the sacrilegious Holy Communions to which Our Lord is subjected while being given to those in a state of mortal sin and even to those who are demonically possessed. The Sacred Heart of Jesus which has so loved mankind and shed every drop of His Blood to ransom us from death is now being trampled underfoot. Bishops and priests, I implore you, call an assembly, put on sackcloth and ashes, fast, and atone for these crimes against Our Lord, and be ready to die rather than see Our Lord again "betrayed into the hands of sinful men."

What Mother Teresa has taught us is that success depends on love and service, and not money. The Church must sever its unholy alliances with this pagan world. If we live for our God, no man on earth would ever have to die for his country!

REPENT NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

There are two prevailing philosophies about the nature of man and his destiny in the world today. The first is presented by Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Gospel of Life (Sacred Scripture); “Man is created a little less than the angels, made in the image and likeness of God, immortal and eternal”. The second is promulgated by satan in his culture of death; that man is created a little higher than the apes, a brute beast to be managed, neutered and disposed of. Planned Parenthood introduced this philosophy in the 1960’s with contraception. Like contraception, cloning, our latest technological innovation, separates the integral component of marriage and alienates the intimate union of husband and wife in the procreation of children. They have stripped love of its nobility, mystery and sacredness: That grace and beauty that inspire us to strive for spiritual perfection. They refuse to acknowledge any moral absolute and hold in practice that which has no principle or truth. The American Medical Association has even redefined the beginning of life to be at the moment of implantation (nidation), rather than at conception to legally allow for human embryo experimentation and contraceptive abortifacients. To our disgrace, the most infamous sins against God and nature are being performed by the manipulation of human beings through artificial conception and scientific research; even after empirical scientific evidence has proven that a unique human person is genetically complete at the first moment of conception with the intrinsic capacity to develop into an adult.

Planned Parenthood, the American Medical Association and the insurance healthcare providers are the major villains in these heinous murders. They have determined that it is more economical to assist in murder than to care for people. Physicians have turned their medical suites and hospitals into veterinary clinics; neutering, spaying, and contracepting their victims like animals. Out of the 50,000 obstetric and gynecological physicians in America less that a dozen follow the teachings of Our Lord Jesus Christ's Church. Many have bought themselves a pew in the Church Militant; however they will noticeably absent in the Church Triumphant.
There is very little to indicate that we have repented or converted from out evil ways. “We have wrapped our lethal deeds in a veil of silence. To be the light of Christ we must name the darkness! Nowhere is the shroud of darkness heavier in the contemporary world than in the sins of contraception, abortion and eugenics where we deal out death to the most innocent of all human beings. This is the most primordial darkness of our time”. The sacredness of life is the very heart of the Gospel. We possess exclusive truth, yet we have sacrificed this claim on the altar civility to the detriment and death of our children. This generation is crossing the threshold of hope, “yet hope is not a blind or naïve reading of reality, but a deep commitment to the designs of providence and it demands our cooperation with God’s will”. Repent and walk in the light of truth before the darkness of evil extinguishes the flame!

LINCOLN'S WORDS ARE RELEVANT TODAY

Our Lord Jesus replied, “The reason why I came into the world, is to testify to the truth. Anyone committed to the truth hears My voice”. “Truth” said Pilate “What is that?” Very few echo this insolence with such perfidy as did former president, Bill Clinton. Lest we forget, his first five acts in office were to kill innocent babies in the womb; the next two were to promote and legalize homosexuality. With the condom queen, Jocelyn Elders as surgeon general, the Clintons and their cohorts wanted governmental healthcare. Their plan would have mandated abortion, euthanasia and assisted suicide in every town and in every medical school, all funded by taxpayer dollars! His Outcome Based Education, sensitivity training and contraception have fostered an epidemic of infidelity, promiscuity, and murder. His worst depravity was to allow babies to be pulled out of the womb breach, their heads punctured and their brains sucked out under the title of healthcare. He didn't object to China’s population program and those who were eating their babies as a delicacy, but was outraged when they stole a few American movies for Chinese consumption. Yet how can we condemn his deeds and re-elect the doers of these atrocities. A vote for the demoncratic (Democratic) party, which espouses in its platform both abortion and sodomy, would be vile!

However, rather than expound on the fundamental inconsistencies and lies in the demoncratic (Democratic) campaign, lets focus this letter on the cowardice and depravity of the publicans (Republicans) on abortion and other moral issues. Quoting Abraham Lincoln's speech at New Haven on March 6th, 1860, I will demonstrate their erroneous position by changing the word slavery to abortion. “You say that you think slavery (abortion) is wrong, but you denounce all attempts to outlaw it. Is there anything else you think wrong and are not willing to deal with as a wrong? There is no place where you will allow slavery (abortion) to be called wrong (murder). We must not call it wrong in politics because that is bringing morality into politics, and we must not call it wrong in the pulpit because that is bringing politics into religion; we must not bring it into our clubs or other societies, because those are such unsuitable places. There is no single place, according to you, where this wrong (slavery, abortion) can be properly called wrong (murder) and treated accordingly”. Lincoln's words have great relevance today, and what is at stake is the soul of our nation.

Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ”

“The Passion of the Christ”, which will be opening Ash Wednesday, is a prophetic meditation on the “Love of Christ”. Cardinal Hoyas hails it as “a triumph of art and faith”. The Pope declared: “It is as it was”. The Pope has declared 2004 as “the year of grace”, where mankind has an opportunity to avert justice by turning away from rebellion, and
towards Love!
As the TOWER OF BABEL continues to rise as man chooses to usurp God’s authority and set himself up as master of the destiny of others inasmuch as he arbitrarily chooses who he will allow to live and whom he will send to their death. America is allowing defenseless human beings to be killed by cloning, in vitro fertilization, cryopreservation, contraception, abortion, nuclear transfer, etc. No scientist or doctor can claim by his scientific competence to be able to decide on another human being’s origin or destiny. The Church must rise up in defense of the “Child in the Dish”. We must repent and walk in the Light of Truth before the darkness of evil extinguishes the flame. The Pope exhorts: “We cannot practice the Gospel of Life only as a private piety. It must be lived vigorously and publicly as a matter of national leadership and witness or it is not lived at all”.

The sin of sodomy also knocks as America marches toward Gomorrah. We preach freedom and democracy to the world and yet we have used these esthetics as a panacea for immorality. Our democracy will “rise or fall with the values which it embodies and promotes”.

I fear for America, for we have made an unholy alliance with the unholy trinity, “me, myself and I” in our public policies. As George Orwell put it “In our time political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible”.

NOW AND THEN

While traveling to Lafayette in 2002 I noticed a sign off the interstate containing 2 pictures with the captions “Then” and “Now”. “Then” showed a picture of 5 mediocre, lack luster, basketball players enjoying a game of basketball in the high school gym (a portrait of sportsmanship, team play and competition to build character). “Now” displayed a picture of a huge, savvy, basketball player slam dunking the goal while letting out a loud roar in triumph (a display of raw, defiant, in-your-face power for money, status and sponsorships). Now, winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing. That billboard took me down memory lane. I would like to expound on the “Then” and “Now”. “Then”: The stores were closed on Sunday and after church every one went to grandma’s house for supper (aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren, etc.). They talked and laughed while the babies, children and grandchildren played. “Now”: Grandma is in the nursing home, everyone else is out shopping, partying, and sports worshiping on Sunday. Due to adultery and divorce the children are often thrown into 4 or 5 different families. “Then” we enjoyed shows like “Andy Griffith”, “Father Knows Best” and “Leave it to Beaver”. “Now”: Children and adults are perverted with the “Simpsons”, “Victoria’s Secret”, MTV, and movies filled with sexual perversion and murder. The most common question that I receive from people after they discover that my wife and I have 11 children is “what does your wife do, where does she work?” My reply is “She is a wife and mother”. Astonished that such an archaic lifestyle still exists, they ponder on those golden years of “IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE”. In wake of the infamous anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, we should reminisce of the good old days when our mothers would never have thought of killing us!

SHOCK AND AWE

It was totally revolting to me to witness some of the elite entertainment industry and the liberals (composed of radical abortionists, satanic sodomites and pansy pacifists) marching around crying for peace when they are the most murderous lot in history. Daily they flood the TV, internet and radio with murder, violence and sexual perversion. They are responsible for the breakdown of family life and societal moral norms. Like the tobacco industry the entertainment industry needs to be held accountable for the damage they are inflicting on individuals and society. It is truly tragic that many of these people, who seem to show compassion for the unknown soldier at the end of a laser guided missile, have absolute contempt for the unknown baby at the end of the abortionists knife.

It is even more nauseating to see some conservative secular humanists using the “just war theory” to defend the U.S. going to war against Iraq since this same group is totally pacifistic when it comes to fighting the terrorism of abortion, sodomy and pornography. They do business with China, the most tyrannical terrorist country in the world, which enslaves its people and murders 50,000,000 babies a year by forced abortion. They have no problem with buying China’s inexpensive goods produced by slave labor. Their media coverage of this war with Iraq resembled a sporting event or video game, play-by- play commentary on laser guided missiles blowing up their target. Cold, calculated destruction with no mention or feeling for the patriotic Iraq’s who like their counterpart American soldiers fought for what they thought was God and country.

To witness the real “Shock and Awe” of the most infamous war in history, watch the The Silent Scream narrated by Bernard Nathanson which shows in fiberoptic detail a D&E abortion. Don’t get me wrong; I think we should bring all terrorists to justice (Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Planned Parenthood, NARAL, etc). If America wants to liberate the world by force, it must realize that freedom is not the right to commit murder, promote sexual perversion and exploit the world’s resources. Victory is the Truth of our Lord Jesus Christ, which our country only gives lip service to!

Prayers for September 11th

Before the murderous communist Joseph Stalin began his rampage that left nearly 60,000,000 dead, he looked over to one of his soldiers and commented that “the death of one man is a sorrowful tragedy; the death of a million is merely a statistic”. America and most of the world has espoused this cynical philosophy most notably in war, abortion and eugenics. On September 11th there will be prayer services held across America for those who died in the terrorist attacks a year ago. It will be a truly sorrowful memorial for thousands, a patriotic eulogy for many and banal commemoration for the countless victims of human malice for most.

Mankind has always tried to impart nobility to its most sorted deeds of war and bloody carnage. Rather than humble himself to Truth and Justice, he stoically marches into the gates of hell (war). Tormented by this unseemly contradiction Voltaire commented “Life is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel”. For the sake of reality I could easily adopt this cynical attitude. Yet I cannot since I have witnessed in my life the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in God’s holy saints. Man was created for Glory! It is written on the faces of babies and reflected in that rare individual that surrenders himself totally to God. Though mankind has seemingly taken over the reigns of life and death usurping God’s authority, my prayer on September 11th will be “Come Lord Jesus and save us from this cruel tyrant”!

MY MOTHER’S HEART
January 1, 2004

A journalist once asked Mother Teresa what was the greatest plight in the world. She replied, “The greatest destroyer of peace today is the crime against the innocent unborn baby”. Abortion is the destroyer of the most intimate human relationships; that of the love of a mother toward her baby and the most intimate conjugal love between husband and wife. Abortion pits a mother against her baby and women against men.

The first sound a baby hears is the heartbeat of its mother. There is no greater human bond of loving sacrifice than that of a baby in her mother’s womb. This love has been the foundation of life and what is truly beautiful in this world. Our Lord asked “Could a mother forget the child in her womb?” It has been providential that medicinal cures have been found in the teardrops of mothers and in the cells of the placenta.

I wrote this poem to my mother before she died of cancer:

My mother’s heart provides all the tender care
When all looks dark and there is none to share
All life’s trials and sorrows, scrapes and tears
My mother understands and always keeps me near
She wipes every tear, all my wounds she repairs
My mother’s the greatest, there is none to compare
Our times together are filled with smiles and caresses
While her sweet singing voice soothes as it blesses
Drifting me off to sleep in her arms
So warm and secure, so safe from all harm
My mother has the ability to answer life’s toughest questions
The purpose of being, the essence of feeling, the meaning of love
Yes, my mother is the greatest, there is no question of that
Thus I will never cease to bless the mother who gave me my life.

Pray for the end of this “Holocaust”.
A baby should hear the loving heartbeat of her mother,
not the sound of a suction machine that will tear her apart!
